  • Middle school students: a notice was sent out to all parents on Sunday about the next dance on Thursday, 2/7/19. The completed permission form and $5.00 ticket fee are due by Monday, 2/4/19. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
  • High school students looking to make community service hours, consider being a student chaperone for the middle school dance. If you are interested, visit the main office.
  • National Honor Society members: there is a meeting today after school in room 103 at 2:40. All must attend.
  • The 10th grade class is selling South Amboy Sticky Wallets for $8. A Sticky Wallets is a slim silicone pocket that sticks to the back of your smartphone and conveniently holds all of your essentials like cash, IDs, and credit cards. All orders are due Monday, February 11th. See Ms. Spinapont in room 330 with any questions.

  • The Consumer Bowl will be happening today around 9:30 am. Good luck to our team. Seniors will be called down to watch and cheer on their classmates.
  • The Library Media Center will be closed during all lunch periods today due to the Consumer Bowl activities. Edmentum students will still report to PD room as scheduled.

  • The New Jers​​​ey High School Consumer Bowl is coming to our school tomorrow. We are not only hosting, we arecompeting! The Consumer Bowl is an educational competition for high school students across the state. It was established in 1997 to educate young adults on a variety of consumer issues. Our team consisting of: Jack Lukie, Maureen Gemian, Alicja Haran, Nick Mihalecko and Savannah Switzer will battle against other schools from our county in the game show like format. Our senior class will be invited to the auditorium to cheer them on.

  • The National Honor Society is hosting a bake sale today and tomorrow in both the middle and high schools. Please stop to buy a sweet treat and support the National Honor Society Scholarship Fund.
  • There will be a School Safety Committee meeting today during seventh period in the media center with Mrs Witte.
  • By now all middle school students should have completed a midyear benchmark assessment in math and language arts. All High School students should have completed benchmarks (they serve as midterms in high school) in their math and language arts classes as well and a midterm in all other subject areas. If you have missed an assessment, please see your teacher as soon as possible to schedule a make up.

  • There will be a Student Council meeting for all middle and high school students today in Mr. Hughes' room, room 106.

  • High School Midterms will continue today with the last day of midterms being Wednesday. Any student who missed a midterm or benchmark assessment should see his/her teacher to schedule a make up as soon as possible.
  • A reminder that school is closed on Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Enjoy the long weekend
