Attention all high school students! Homecoming is Friday, December 13th. Tickets are on sale until December 4th. Please see a junior class officer for a permission slip during homeroom or lunch. Permission forms completed for guests from outside our school need to be approved by building administration.
- Spirit Week is coming! Two of our most important events are the Toy Drive and Food Drive. Start collecting toys and food. Toy Drive ends at 8:10 am on Friday, December 13. Food Drive ends at 8:10 am on Tuesday, December 17.
- Attention all 8th graders-Spirit Week t-shirt money is due to Mrs. Doherty or Mrs. Vona by Friday, Dec. 6th! T-shirts are $10.00. Please see Mrs. Doherty or Mrs. Vona if you have any questions.
- Good Morning 7th Graders!! All 7th graders are invited to meet in Ms. Vancil's Room on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after school. We would like to see all 7th graders at all the meetings.

- There will be a Varsity Letter Award Recognition Ceremony for those students that have met varisty letter criteria in 2019 Fall sports. The ceremony will be on 11-27-19, during periods 1-3, in the MHS auditorium. The event will be open to grades 8-12.

Gobble Grams can be purchased for $1 and will be delivered to homerooms during the last week of November with a full-size candy bar and your message of gratitude. Forms and payment are due to Ms. Spinapont or a junior class officer no later than Friday, November 22nd!
- This year we will be offering the "Interact Club," which is essentially a community service group. Any students from 7th to 12th grade that are interested in joining should speak to Mr. Kim in Room 104, Maggie Whiteley, or Tommy Coman for details.

- Today grades 9-12 we see the performance of Anytown the Musical at 8:30 am. Grades 7 and 8 will see the performance at 11:00 am. Please wait to be called down to the auditorium.

- On Saturday Mary Ann Walsh and Guin Kennedy participated in the State Group 1 Championship at Holmdel Park. The meet featured the 144 best small school runners in the state who qualified from last weeks sectional championships. Mary Ann placed 22nd in a Holmdel PR of 21:38 and Guin placed 29th in a course PR of 21:48. Mary Ann and Guin became the first two South Amboy girls to qualify for the state group meet and finished off the most successful season of girls cross country in school history. Congratulations to the girls on their great performances.
