Question of the month for November: What is the only mammal born with horns?
- Community Service Hours Opportunity: The City of South Amboy is looking for students to help with the annual tree lighting on Friday, November 30th, at 5:30PM at the train plaza. Sign up in the main office.
- Attention all High School students - Homecoming is Friday, December 14th. Tickets are on sale until Dec, 5th. Please see a senior class officer for a permission slip.
- We will be taking yearbook superlative pictures Monday December 3. Please meet in Mrs. Partenope's room during period 1.
- There will be a meeting today during 7th period for the Safety Ambassadors Program in the Media Center.
- If you signed up for Middle School Cheerleading, there will be a mandatory interest meeting on Friday, November 30th immediately after school in Room 323.
- Reminder: students are not permitted to enter the media center unless they have been provided a pass by a teacher or are with their class.
- National Honor Society: Our November meeting is today, right after school in room 103. All must attend.
- Class of 2025, current 6th graders! There will be a quick class meeting after school today in Ms. Grasso's room, 437. Please bring a small gift, donation (holiday related) for the tricky tray. There will be snacks!
- Spirit Week is coming. The first competition starts on Monday. For the Month of December, the grade level with the overall best attendance taken in homeroom will get points for their team. So in high school, the grade level with the best overall December attendance will get 4 points, the second 3, third 2 and the last 1. The middle school: the best overall attendance grade level will get 3 points, second 2 and last 1. It pays to come to school and to be on time!

- The Holiday Free Throw Fundraiser is right around the corner! On Tuesday, December 4th, the Class of 2023 is hosting a Foul Shot competition with music, prizes, and...empanadas from Harry's Lil' Kitchen! Volunteers are needed, come see Mr. G.!
- Attention Seniors! Make your way to Guidance to fill your counselor in on Senior year up to this point. It's almost December and 2019 is right around the corner. Think about making an academic promise to yourself to start the New Year off in a positive way!

- Mr. G the Elder would like to thank all those students who came over the weekend to unload a U-Haul full of food for the St. Mary's Food Bank. On Saturday over 100 families were aided by the food bank. The president of the local food bank sends his heartfelt thanks to all you young people during this Thanksgiving season.

- The high school girls basketball team is selling apparel and beanie hats. Orders can be found in the main office, guidance and in the gym. All orders are due Fri. Nov. 16th. Turn all orders in to Mrs. Lewis. Please support the team.
