  • There will be a presentation reviewing General Organization Fund & Athletic Fund procedures on October 2nd at 3pm in room 217. All faculty/staff members, coaches, & administrators who anticipate utilizing these accounts are welcome to attend.

  • National Honor Society Members: there is a meeting today during 6th period lunch at 12:40 in room 103. All must attend.
  • The Boys soccer team fell to Timothy Christian in a hard fought battle yesterday 3-2. Scoring for the Governors were Angel Barillas with the two goals assisted by Jake Shotz and Nathan Vastey. Our record now is two wins and five losses. We have two home games next week. Please come out and support our team.
  • There will be chorus today after school in the music room.
  • Attention all High School students-There will be a GSA meeting today, directly after school in room 102. Please see Mrs. Doherty or Mrs. Vona if you have any questions.

  • If you would like to join the Middle School cheerleading team there will be a meeting today in room 326.
  • Attention all singers! If you are interested in joining the chorus, our first practice will be this Thursday directly after school in the music room. See Ms. Alcuri if you have any questions.
  • Attention all High School students-There will be a GSA meeting on Thursday, September 26th, directly after school in room 102. Please see Mrs. Doherty or Mrs. Vona if you have any questions.

  • There will be band practice today after school in the music room.

  • If you would like to join the Middle School cheerleading team there will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 25th, in room 326.
  • Attention all musicians! If you play an instrument and are interested in joining the band, our first practice will be this Wednesday directly after school in the music room. Please bring your instrument! See Ms. Alcuri if you have any questions.

  • If you would like to join the Middle School cheerleading team there will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 25th, in room 326.
  • Online registrations and physicals are now being accepted for 2019-2020 Winter athletics. The deadline to submit all paperwork is October 1, 2019.

  • There will be a high school cheerleading interest meeting today right after school in room 107. Please see Miss Eardley for any questions or concerns if you cannot make it.

  • Last Friday, the cross country team competed in the Battle at Ocean County Park which is a class based meet that featured teams from all over central and south Jersey. On the girl’s side, senior MaryAnn won a medal and ran a school record time of 20:31 while Junior Guin Kennedy also won a medal with a PR performance of 20:58. On the boys side the fast times continued as Neftali Rodriguez posted a PR of 19:20 and Joe Jamolawicz ran a very impressive 18:22 making him the 8th fastest boy in school history for the 5K. Sophomore star Rafael Albarran won a medal in his race and ran a PR time of 17:38 to make him the 4th fastest runner in school history. In the final race of the day, senior Abe Calderon turned in a huge PR of 17:28 placing him 3rd all time in school history. Congratulations to the team on a great meet.

  • Mr. Wohlt would like to congratulate the Girls Varsity Tennis team for a great effort against Dunellen this past Wednesday. First Singles Senior Selina Maisonett, Second Singles Senior Victoria Tierney, and First Doubles team of Sophomore Lexi Zaretsky/Freshmen Sara Lukie all nearly won their matches. Third Singles Senior Jelissa Caraballo did win her match in three sets 2-6, 7-5, and 7-6 (7-5). The team is close to their first win as they take on Carteret away today at 4pm.

  • Attention class of 2020, there will be a class meeting today directly after school to discuss spirit week, haunted hallway, and this year’s Florida trip!

  • There will be a high school cheerleading interest meeting on Friday, September 20, right after school in room 107. Please see Miss Eardley for any questions or concerns if you cannot make it.

  • National Junior Honor Society: We have our first MANDATORY meeting today, right after school in the Media Center. Please be prompt.

  • Attention class of 2020, there will be a class meeting this Friday directly after school to discuss Spirit Week, Haunted Hallway, and this year’s Florida trip!

  • The boys soccer team is 2 wins and 3 losses. St. Thomas wins the first one yesterday. The bright spot was one of our captains, Jake Shots, who scored his first career hat trick. Final Score of the game was 7-3. Our next home game is tomorrow against division leader, Wardlaw. County Park 4 o clock Friday!!!
  • A reminder for students parking on campus: no one may park in the rear lot without a permit. This is the only lot open to students. Students may not park in the lot in the front of the school by the high school entrance. Seniors interested in getting a permit should come to the main office for paperwork.
  • Today we will follow a short session schedule. We will also have an Open House for our Middle School classes during periods two and three. 
  • Please remind your parents to attend Back to School Night this evening beginning promptly at 6:00 pm in our auditorium.

  • Attention all High School students!! Mrs. Palmeri is looking for volunteers to help out at this years Arts Festival. Community Service hours will be given please don't wait! See Mrs. Palmeri for details.

  • There will be a Student Council meeting in the media center today after school. All members must attend.

  • A reminder for students parking on campus: no one may park in the rear lot without a permit. This is the only lot open to students. Students may not park in the lot in the front of the school by the high school entrance. Seniors interested in getting a permit should come to the main office for paperwork.
  • Guidance will be closed today during periods three and four. Any student in need during that time should be referred to the main office.

  • Student Council elections will take place in homeroom today. Remember to vote for classmates that will best represent your class.
  • The boys varsity soccer team won yesterday 7-1 against Calvary Christian. Andrew Yuhass and Jacob Mercado split time in goal. Five different players were on the scoreboard. Angel Barillas had a hat trick, 3 goals. Brendan Soper followed with two and Jake, Jack Ryan and Dave Hojnowski each had one. The team is 2 and 2. Next home game is Friday.
  • Attention all high school students. The Elementary School and the Middle High School are looking for volunteers, this means community service hours, to help with Back To School Night. Tonight from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm for the Elementary School, and Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm for the Middle High School. Please come to the main office now if you are interested.
