  Dear Parents/Guardians: Some important happenings at the MHS: Interim reports for marking period two are available on Parent Access. Please log on to view your child's performance. If   you encounter any difficulties, call the school so we can assist you. Our Concert last week was excellent! Great performances and a terrific showing from our school community. Homecoming Dance was also excellent! Our students looked great and had a good time. The Friends of South Amboy Charity Games were once again a success. Thank you to all who volunteered to help and those who   attended the event.* Reminder: Food Drive has begun. It will run until December 18. The Student Council is having a Five Below Fundraiser until December 17. Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm and Monday from 9:00 am   until 9:00 pm.  Flyers must be printed from the student council website.   Middlesex County College is one of 13 community colleges in New Jersey that will be offering free tuition and fees to those   students with adjusted gross incomes of $45,000 per year or less. The program will start in the spring semester of 2019.   Take some time to Google "Community College Innovation Challenge Pilot Program". Dear Parents/Guardians, Some important happenings at the MHS: Governor's Educator of the Year Award. Please see the document attached to my weekly email for more information and consider nominating members  of our staff who make a difference! Due date is 12/12/18.  Monday (10th) & Tuesday (11th) the holiday bazaar will be set up outside of the cafeteria during all lunch periods.   Friends of South Amboy Charity Basketball game will be taking place on Saturday, December 15. Game times are 2, 4, 6, and 8  pm.Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults and must be purchased at the door. Spirit Week here! The first activity we began counting as part of the competition was monthly attendance.  The class with   the highest percent of students present throughout the month will receive the highest point values.  OK, Spirit Week, what's next ?    Scavenger Hunts - Tuesday, December 11, Middle School and Wednesday, December 12, High School from 3:00-4:00 pm.    Food Drive has begun. It will run until December 18.    Toy Drive also has begun. It will run until December 14.    Dress Up Theme Days: Thursday, December 13 - Dress Up/Dress Down;  Friday, December 14 - Purple and Gold    Banners are due at 7:30 am on Thursday, December 13. Holiday Free Throw Competition on December 4th will be from 6:30-9pm.
