Some important happenings at the MHS:
Monday is the last day of school and this is the final "What's Happening at the MHS" email for the 2017-2018 school year.
Marking period four report cards are available on Parent Access. We do not mail them so please log on. If you need assistance, call the school.
Summer reading and math packets were sent out and are available on our school website. You may also visit the Sadie Pope Dowdell Library. They have access to our packets and have computers students can use all summer.
12th Grade graduation is Monday evening: 6:15 pm slide show and 7:00 pm ceremony.

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students:
The summer math and ELA packets were emailed yesterday. I hope you received them. You can also access them through our school web-page under the For Parents or For Students tab. If you click on either of these tabs, a drop down menu will appear and the last item is summer assignments; simply click on that link.
The math portion is being completed using an online resource, The Khan Academy. If you need access to a computer during the summer, the Sadie Pope Dowdell Library has 22 computers for anyone to use. Their summer hours are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Wednesday and Friday - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The librarians/media-specialists at the Library can show you how to access the math and ELA assignments from our school web-page in case you need to view them while you are there. If you use the Library's computers for the Khan Academy, you will need to bring earbuds or earphones to hear the instruction provided.

Yearbooks are in!!! Monday, 6/18/18, is the last day to get one. Contact Mrs. Brown for more information. [email protected]
Graduation tickets: for our ceremonies we will provide four tickets to each student participating. There is a possibility we will have extra tickets once we account for staff, guests and local dignitaries. Any extra tickets that are left over will be distributed equitably to the graduating class.
Quarterlies for periods 3 and 7 on Monday, and periods 4 and 8 on Tuesday.
Short session days for the last three days of school: 6/21, 6/22 and 6/25

Middle School trip to Frog Hollow on 6/6/18 was terrific. A thank you to the PTO for sponsoring it.
Parents of Juniors going to Disney next year - Disney payment #3, $200, is due by 6/14/18.
Junior Class Parent Meeting regarding the Disney Trip 2019: Thursday, 6/14/18, 3:00-3:30, SAHS Media Center, informal Q & A session.

Looking for some dirty cars! Student Council Car Wash at BOE office parking lot on Monday, 6/4/18, at 4:00 pm.
Middle School trip to Frog Hollow is on 6/6/18. Deadline for permission slips was extended until tomorrow, 6/4/18.
Reminder: 8th graders, the 8th Grade Formal is upon us! All permission slips and money are due by Monday, June 4th.
Attention all varsity and JV athletes. There will be a dinner on Wednesday, June 6 at 6pm for all high school athletes. We will be honoring our Senior athletes at this time. Parents of Senior athletes are also welcome. Please notify Mr. Blekeski or your coach if you plan on attending.
