Dear Parents/Guardians,
On Thursday, May 30th, we will have a presentation at our school titled, Mallory's Army; this presentation will be made by Mrs, Dianne Grossman. Mrs Grossman will be talking about her daughter Mallory’s struggle with bullying that ended in Mallory committing suicide. Mrs. Grossman's mission is to educate students in both middle and high school about bullying, its consequences, how to identify behaviors, prevent it from happening and support those who experience it. The message is very powerful.
Mallory was a New Jersey middle school student and Mrs. Grossman will be speaking candidly about her daughter’s death. The program has been provided to a number of schools in New Jersey with positive reviews. We believe her message is important and will serve to benefit our school community. There will be a presentation during the school day for all grades. We will also have a presentation for our parent community at 6:30 pm on May 30th at the Middle High School. All are welcome to attend.
