Some important happenings at the MHS:
*A thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended our Back to School Night and Open Houses last week. We enjoyed having you.
*Online registrations and physicals are now being accepted for 2019-2020 Winter athletics. The deadline to submit all paperwork is October 1, 2019. When submitting physicals, please mail or hand in a hard copy to Nurse Housman at the Middle/High School. In addition, please complete and submit the online registration through our athletic registration tab. No athlete will be able to participate in athletics without both of these documents. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the school.
*9/23/19: Board of Education meeting
*9/26/19: Financial Aid Night with Kristin Isaksen from Monmouth University at 6:30pm in the Media Center. Please enter through the Auditorium entrance.
*9/26/19: Friends of South Amboy Fundraiser
Looking ahead:
*10/4/19: PTO Pocketbook Bingo - doors open at 6:00pm
*Week of 10/7/19: interims will be available for marking period one
*10/9/19: Presentation for 18 yrs. and older -"Current Adolescent Trends: Opiates and Extractions." From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the South Amboy Resource Center. Please see flyer attached to my weekly email.
*10/14/19: school closed for Columbus day
*10/16/19: 8th grade cap and gown photos as well as retakes for underclassmen.
*10/23/19: Presentation - "Technology Dependence and the Impact on Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Depression and Suicide." From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the South Amboy Resource Center. Please see flyer attached to my weekly email.
*11/11/19: school closed for Veterans' Day
*11/21/19 and 11/22/19: Parent/Teacher conferences.
