Attention Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors......!!

Let's be more proactive in this extra-curricular club. It's not only for the seniors but all middle-high schoolers. The Debate Team needs your participation and involvement to make it a success! Can't be a speaker, no worries, join as a spectator/audience and slowly it will bring out the speaker in you.

We will be doing a For and Against~ One on One OR a Team of 3 Speakers on either sides, with 3 rounds to make a statement, support/defend your point, and rebuttals.

Please see me, Mrs. Nisraiyya (Niz) (Science Dept., ~Room 222)

We will briefly meet every Monday immediately after school to discuss, contribute, select topics, etc. with Debates held on the last  Wednesday of the month w.e.f. from October to May in Room #222 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you are attending, please make sure your parent/guardian has been notified, permission granted and/or your ride back home arranged.

Any questions, contact me in person or via email:

Your Debate Club Advisor,
Mrs. Nisraiyya

In closing, the stance on an interesting current and controversial issue will be respectfully discussed and delivered by our students. The quality of the questions and standpoints will be stated passionately with well research, evidence and statistical data. In all, as difficult it will be to surmise the overall winning team...both being equally challenging in their own oratory skills, audience will declare the winner(s) by a round of applause.

Please show your support as the audience as our speakers are motivated by you.

It is a pleasure to see our speakers address current controversial issues and voice out their opinions in  a competitive yet respectful manner.
