Attention all High School and Middle School Girls: There will be a Girls Soccer interest meeting today in Coach Schipske's room 104 immediately after school. It will not be more than 15 minutes long! We want to encourage any girl that wants to play a fall sport to come meet some returning players, receive information, and be introduced to the game!
Student Council is running a fundraiser at Bubbas today. See a student council member or Mr. Hughes for a flyer, come out to support senior scholarships!
Please join the National Honor Society for a fundraiser at Chipotle in Woodbridge from 4pm-8PM tonight. You may order on -line for easy pick up by using our unique code or you may show the flyer on paper or on you phone in the restaurant. Proceeds benefit senior scholarships. See flyers in the main office or Ms. Kovacs in room 103 for more information.

Attention all High School and Middle School Girls: There will be a Girls Soccer interest meeting on Wednesday, February 16th, in Coach Schipske's room 104 immediately after school. It will not be more than 15 minutes long! We want to encourage any girl that wants to play a fall sport to come meet some returning players, receive information, and be introduced to the game!
On Saturday the track team competed in the NJSIAA Sectional meet at the Bubble in Toms River. Sieanna Cabral had a great day with a PR in the 400 meters of 1:11 followed a new PR of 8.28 in the 55 meters. Sieanna’s time in the 55 meters lowered the school record which she set last just a few weeks ago. In the 800 meters, Rafael Albarran placed 7th in the section and missed qualifying for states by half a second despite a very strong performance. In the 1600 meters, Steven and Daniel Evanski both turned in PR performances with Steven placing 12th overall in 5:12 and Daniel lowing his PR to 5:38. In the 3200 meters, Jack Smith set an indoor PR while Guin Kennedy ran a very strong race against a fast field of runners and placed 7th overall. Senior and Captain Joe Jamolawicz was the only South Amboy runner to qualify for the state meet thanks to a strong 4th place finish in the 3200 meters. Joe has qualified for states in both cross country and winter track. Congratulations to the team on a great sectional meet and good luck to Joe at states.
