Lucy Tooker also had a great meet and ran a PR in both the 100 meters and the 800 meters. Gabrielle Evanski unofficially broke the school record in the 400 meters in a time of 1:16 and also ran a PR in the 800 meters later in the meet.

We begin State testing on Monday for grades 6,7, 8 and 9. It is important that all students in those grades bring their Chromebooks to school each day fully charged. You should also be on time. We will begin the testing first thing in the morning. If you arrive late or are absent, you will need to complete testing during a make-up day.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, you will not be testing next week. On the days of testing, Monday through Thursday, you are asked to arrive to school at 10:00am, no earlier. You will enter using the auditorium entrance. Sophomores will go directly to the cafeteria. Juniors and seniors will go to the auditorium. We will take attendance in those locations at that time. You will not be permitted to go to your lockers until the testing is over. Our school will follow a regular schedule for periods 4 through 8 on the days of testing.

The National Honor Society is having an Ice Pop and Treat Sale today at the main entrance and at the auditorium entrance. Please stop by for a refreshing ice pop or snack and help support NHS senior scholarships.

The middle school baseball team won a tight game on Wednesday by a score of 2-1. Micah Nemeth pitched a gem on the mound and was helped out by some stellar defense. While Trevor Seig drove in what would become the game winning run. The boys play again on the road, Friday.
