MHS-Morning Announcement December 13, 2022

High School students are needed for "Babysitting Night Friday, December 16 from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Middle High School. Students are needed to help entertain and watch children in grades K-5. Please see Ms. Echevarria in the Media Center for more information and to sign up.

As part of spirit week, there will be a food & toy drive. Please drop off food and toys in the media center to Ms. Ecchevaria. Please include what grade the items should be counted for. They will count towards spirit week totals! The last day to be counted will be on Wednesday December 22.

The National Honor Society invites you to take a selfie with Santa. Santa will be here during all lunch periods and after school on Monday and Tuesday, December 19 & 20. Pick a photo prop and strike a pose with Santa. $1 for 1 or 2 people and $2 for 3-5 people. Santa will be outside the cafeteria at lunch and by the auditorium after school until 4pm.

The National Honor Society is selling Candy Cane Candy Grams for $1 each. Send holiday cheer to a friend, a teacher, a staff member or anyone in the building. Candy grams will be delivered during homeroom on December 23. See an NHS member or Ms. Kovacs in room #103.

Student Council will be hosting a fundraiser at Bubbas on Wednesday after school! Please see a student council member for a flyer. Come out and support student council scholarships!

The Middle School Scavenger Hunt will be after school today. All students participating should head to their advisors rooms after period 8.

The Winter Concert is this week! Come out and support your musician friends who will be performing on stage this Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7PM in the auditorium. Entry is FREE! See you there!

The first meeting of the chess club will take place after school today in room 102. Stop by to learn the game, or develop your skills by playing against your peers. See Mr. Haney if you have any questions.
