Mummification 3-2-1 Formative Google Question-Students will complete a 3-2-1 formative activity after watching the video clip. Students will need to write down three new facts, two interesting facts, and one question they still have on mummification. This will be started in class on Tuesday November 22nd. If the students do not complete this assignment in class, they will complete it for homework.

Please highlight the Mary Hill Primary Account textual evidence (Annotations) that helps you answer the two part journal activity. This assignment will be due at the start of class on Friday November 18th
2. Removing the Five Civilized Tribes Packet-Student had time in class on Thursday November 3rd and Monday November 14th when I was absent to complete this assignment. Students

Students will decide which sentence in each pair is the cause and which is the effect. This assignment will be due for a Formative Grade on Thursday April 14th.
2. Students in Periods 5, 6, and 8 on Monday April 11th had a free period due to the Assembly during Period 2. Homework: Write a written reflection in a Google Document attached to this assignment answering the following questions. Minimum of 10 sentences. Explain your answers. Please do not copy and paste any answers from the internet. I have the Originality Report on for this assignment. You are allowed to quote or cite examples from the NPR article. Remember the format from the Indian Ruler Project. 

Did the practice of foot binding connect with women having a lower status than men in China? How? Remember to use evidence from the NPR article and the video clips we have watched. What do you think of the practice of foot binding?

Tuesday and Wednesday: Women's Rights packet Student Activity Exercise A  and B Google Document: Class read the text, completed, and discussed the two parted assignment in class on Tuesday (12/14) and Wednesday (12/15). All answers should be completed on a Google Document or the paper copy in full well thought out sentences using textual evidence from the reading. This assignment is due on Friday December 17th on paper or on Google Document. 
Thursday-Friday: Word Up! Google Slides Group Project will be introduced. Project will be due on Tuesday January 4th. Please see the project sheet posted in Google Classroom for directions and timeline to complete the project. All group members will need to fill-in and hand in individually their Word Up! Project sheet. You should have the same information/facts as your group members.

Students will write down three New facts they learned about the Erie Canal from this video clip, two interesting facts they learned about the Erie Canal from this video clip, and one question they still have about the Erie Canal. Finalized Age of Jackson Study Guides are due in Google Classroom by Friday November 19th for a Summative grade. Please be sure to check and correct you answers during each check-in. Age of Jackson Summative test will be in class on Friday November 19th. Students will not be able to use their study guides on this test.

Remember to study every night in preparation for the test on Friday. Mr. Wohlt will be available for extra help directly after school on Tuesday November 16th and Thursday November 18th.

7th Grade Homework for the Week of 05/17

1. Do Nows will not be graded this week
2. Reconstruction Vocabulary Google Form is due today Monday May 17th. Students may 
use either your Chapter 16 PDFs or the Glossary PDF to help you complete the Google Form. Google Forms will NOW save your answers as you complete them till you submit the Google Form. This is a new feature and I would back up your answers till you are used to this new feature. In addition, students had time in class today to collaborate prior to submitting the Google Form. This Google Form will count as Formative grade this week!
3. Reconstruction Summative Google Form Test is due by Friday May 21st
Please complete the Google Form using your Google Classroom classwork from 05/03-05/17 or the Textbook Chapter 16/Glossary PDF in Google Classroom. Students cannot use Google search engine (Or any other) to look up answers. Students will have one opportunity to submit this assignment on Google Forms. Google Forms will NOW save your answers as you complete them till you submit the Google Form. This is a new feature and I would back up your answers till you are used to this new feature.

1. Pre-Civil War Debate Cheat Sheet Google Document: Topic groups need to hand in this assignment by Thursday March 25th. This assignment counts for a Summative grade!
2. Pre-Civil War Group and Self Evaluation Google Form: Complete the Google Form following the directions in the form in Google Classroom. Remember feedback comments need to be specific and explained. Comments are a way to explain to me what you/partners did well and what you can improve for future projects. Completed forms are due by Friday March 26th and will count for a Summative grade
3. Do Now on Friday March 26th will count for a Formative grade. We will discuss possible answers in class. Remember that you can edit your answer up until I grade them. 
5. Lincoln’s Inauguration and the beginning of the Civil War 3-2-1 Activity will be complete in class for a Formative Grade on Friday March 26th. Remember if you do not finish in class, you can still complete it later that day. This too will count as a Formative grade.

Wednesday: Topic Groups will create a minimum of five debate questions to ask the other side. This is for classwork and homework!

1. Groups will create a minimum of three slogans to support their debate topic. These Slogans can be made in Google Slides. Please be creative with the slogans and the decoration. This is for classwork and homework!
2. Groups will practice presenting their opening statement, questions, and debating.

1. Complete the Google Form for your side, topic, and partner by the end of class on Tuesday March 9th.
2. Use the resources page in the Pre-Civil War Debate Project Google Document to find what your side (North or South) believes about your specific topic. Why does your side believe this? This is for classwork and homework!
3. Once you have cleared what your side believed about topic and supporting facts with Mr. Wohlt, you can start creating a minimum of five debate questions to ask the other side. This is for classwork and homework!
